Inside Sales / Stocklisting Associate
The Macomb Group, a leading distributor specializing in Pipe, Valve, and Fittings, is hiring a full‑time inside sales/stocklisting associate for our Charlotte, North Carolina location.
SummaryThe role blends inside sales with detailed stocklisting responsibilities. The incumbent will generate accurate quotes, maintain strong client relationships, and support operational efficiency for fire protection and fabrication projects.
Responsibilities- Customer Engagement:
Serve as main contact, address inquiries, provide quotes, and process orders. - Relationship Management:
Build and maintain strong client relationships, upsell & cross‑sell opportunities. - Stocklisting & Technical Support:
Prepare detailed material lists for fire protection projects using Hydra Tech, coordinate with internal teams and purchasing. - Business Development:
Proactively expand customer base, strengthen existing relationships and support positioning as leader in fire protection fabrication. - Collaboration & Reporting:
Coordinate with fabrication, sales, and purchasing teams; compile reports tracking sales performance, retention, and operational improvements.
- 1+ years of inside sales, customer service, or related field; experience in fire protection or construction an advantage.
- Familiarity with stocklisting processes;
Hydra Tech software preferred. - Strong interpersonal and communication skills focused on customer satisfaction.
- Excellent organization and multitasking in fast‑paced environment.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office; ERP or industry software experience is a plus.
- Office‑based role with extended computer use; occasional exposure to manufacturing noise and temperature changes.
- Some travel may be required to meet customers or attend training.
Charlotte, North Carolina | Monday–Friday, 9 AM–6 PM (day shift)
