Job Overview:
Search Solution Group is seeking a Sales Representative on behalf of our client, a design-driven workplace solutions company specializing in workplace consultation, furniture sales, and custom solutions for corporate, healthcare, and education industries. This role is critical in driving new business development, building relationships with key decision-makers, and supporting the company’s strategic growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop new business opportunities through relationship-based, solutions-driven sales
- Manage long sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders
- Lead client projects in collaboration with an internal designer and support team
- Sell comprehensive workplace solutions, including office furniture, lighting, A/V, and design services
- Work with executives, HR, corporate real estate, and finance teams to influence decisions
- Manage RFP processes, proposals, and client presentations
- Complete a one-week training course at Steelcase HQ in Michigan
- Represent the company in client meetings and networking opportunities, strengthening its brand
Requirements Include:
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent work experience considered
Experience:
- Background in architecture & design (A&D), corporate real estate, or project-based sales
- Experience selling workplace solutions, medical furniture, lighting, or A/V solutions
- Familiarity with long, complex sales cycles and multi-stakeholder projects
- Dealer and/or manufacturing experience is highly desirable

- Strong networking and relationship-building capabilities
- Analytical, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing RFPs and proposals
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
Certifications:
- None required; relevant sales or design certifications a plus
Knowledge:
- Deep understanding of workspace solutions, project-based selling, and executive decision-making processes
