Key Responsibilities

Account Management & Growth

  • Manage a portfolio of salons supporting their needs remotely
  • Proactively reach out to assigned accounts via phone, email, and text
  • Increase average order size and reorder frequency
  • Identify opportunities to grow accounts
  • Educate salons on promotions, new launches, and brand programs
  • Place and manage orders accurately and efficiently
  • Recommend products based on salon needs, services, and retail goals
  • Track account performance and follow up on dormant or declining accounts
  • Support seasonal campaigns, incentives, and growth initiatives

Relationship Building

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned salons
  • Build trust through consistent communication and follow-through
  • Understand each salon’s business goals and challenges
  • Partner with outside sales reps to support salons and understand their needs

Administration & Reporting

  • Maintain accurate records and account notes in Netsuite
  • Track outreach, conversions, and growth metrics
  • Provide feedback on trends, objections, and client needs
  • Collaborate with operations to resolve order or inventory issues
Success Metrics
  • Growth in annual sales across assigned accounts
  • Increased reorder frequency and average order value
  • Retention rate of assigned salons
  • Responsiveness and customer satisfaction
Qualifications
  • 1–3 years of inside sales, account management, or customer service experience
  • Beauty, salon, or professional products industry experience preferred
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple accounts
  • Confident using CRM systems, email, and basic sales reporting tools
  • Self-motivated with a growth mindset
