Position Overview

The Oncology Account Specialist (OAS) is responsible for promoting and selling urology, immunology, and other specialty products within a designated territory, reporting directly to the Regional Sales Director (RSD). This role involves building and maintaining strong relationships with healthcare professionals, understanding their needs, and providing solutions that align with the company’s vision and values. OASs work closely with the RSD to achieve sales targets and contribute to the overall success of the oncology sales team and Accord Bio Pharma.

The Oncology Account Specialists will gather key information related to targeted accounts/customers, will provide product information & clinical data to customers, and deliver impactful core selling messages. The OAS will demonstrate a sense of urgency to prepare and successfully execute the product commercial plan within their assigned geography.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Sales Execution: Implement sales strategies to achieve territory sales goals and objectives.
  • Customer Engagement: Establish and nurture strong relationships with key stakeholders in hospitals, urology practices (individual/group practices) with key stakeholders including physicians, practice administrators, pharmacists, and formulary committees. Capable of prioritizing accounts in a large geographic to deliver sales results.
  • Market Analysis: Monitor and analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify opportunities and challenges, and adjust sales strategies accordingly.
  • Training: Complete assigned product training at an advanced level, developing a comprehensive understanding of general disease state, assigned product features and benefits and core selling messages. Participate in ongoing training programs to enhance product knowledge and sales skills.
  • Compliance: Maintain a thorough understanding of all relevant compliance laws, policies, and processes, ensuring full compliance by self and team.
