- The role is a 100% commission plus commission bonus opportunity. Outside Sales Consultants on average earn $50k‑$70k in the first year, with top performers earning well over $100k. (
Note:
this is a commission‑only role.) - Meet face‑to‑face with customers in their homes and help find the best flooring products for their needs.
- Generate revenue through referrals and prospecting additional customers.
- Attend sales meetings and training sessions both in person and virtually.
- Deliver excellent customer service and present professionally, including in Empire branded apparel.
- Use electronic tablets and measuring devices in connection with sales presentations.
- Valid driver’s license to travel locally to meet customers and a vehicle with room for flooring sample boards.
- Minimum of two self‑generated installed sales per month, which pay higher commissions.
- Availability for evening & weekend appointments.
- Direct Seller Contract.
- Ability to use electronic tablets and measuring devices in connection with sales presentations.
- Present yourself professionally, including in Empire branded apparel.
- Attendance at sales meetings and training sessions both in person and virtually.
