Sales Manager – Spectrum Quartz
Base pay range: $90,000.00/yr - $/yr
Spectrum Quartz is seeking a highly disciplined, results-driven Building Materials Distribution Sales Manager to lead, coach, and hold accountable an 8–10 person outside sales team across multiple states. This is a hands‑on leadership role for a proven sales manager who thrives on structure, metrics, and execution. This role requires a leader who can drive daily activity, customer visits, pipeline accuracy, and revenue results, while motivating a sales team in the following territories:
North Carolina, Georgia, Tennessee and Florida.
- Hold sales representatives accountable through consistent coaching, performance reviews, and data‑driven follow‑up.
- Leverage Salesforce as a management tool, ensuring accurate reporting, forecasting, opportunity tracking, and activity compliance.
- Drive and engineer execution of regional sales strategies to grow market share and achieve aggressive sales targets within the Southeast territory.
- Conduct regular ride‑along, field coaching, and market visits (~65% travel) to reinforce standards, develop talent, and evaluate performance firsthand.
- Manage key regional accounts, ensuring consistent growth, strong relationships, and effective territory coverage.
- Analyze market data, competitive activity, and product performance to adjust sales strategies for both new and existing product lines.
- Collaborate closely with senior leadership on sales results, team performance, and product margin objectives.
- Demonstrated success managing multi‑state sales teams (8+ reps) in quartz, stone, or closely related building materials industries.
- Minimum 5+ years of sales management experience.
- Strong command of Salesforce, with the ability to enforce CRM adoption as a core management and accountability tool.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in business administration or similar preferred; minimum 5+ years of experience in sales.
Systems:
Microsoft 365 and Salesforce.
Travel Requirements:
Ability to travel 65% in assigned territory.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds.
