Job Summary
Builders Wholesale Flooring, LLC. is looking for a qualified Sales Account Manager to develop long‑term relationships with customers and oversee sales across South Carolina, Georgia, and North Carolina. This role requires regular travel and overnight business trips to serve a designated customer base, provide pricing, product samples, bids, and take‑offs, and collaborate with branch managers to grow the business.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES- Manage a portfolio of accounts to achieve long‑term success
- Experience in the flooring industry is a plus
- Develop positive relationships with clients
- Act as the point of contact and handle customers’ individual needs
- Generate new business using existing and potential customer networks
- Resolve conflicts and provide solutions to customers in a timely manner
- Report on the status of accounts and transactions
- Set and track sales account targets aligned with company objectives
- Monitor sales metrics (e.g., quarterly sales results and annual forecasts)
- Suggest actions to improve sales performance and identify opportunities for growth

Requirements & Qualifications- Proven work experience as a Sales account manager or Sales account executive
- Hands‑on experience in sales and an ability to deliver excellent customer experience
- Understanding of sales performance metrics
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to deliver projects and answer inquiries on time
- Business acumen with a problem‑solving attitude
- Ability to sit at a computer monitor for long periods throughout the day
- Must stand for long periods, reach with hands and arms, move among offices, handle mail and documents, sit, stoop, kneel, crouch, lift up to 10 pounds, and see well enough to discern differences in documents
