Full Time Merchandiser (Stocker) – Coca-Cola Consolidated

Schedule: 6AM until completion (Weekends required).
Locations: Shelby, Forrest City.
Pay Range: $194.14 per day.

Job Overview

The Merchandiser is responsible for presenting products in a way that attracts customers at our retail locations. The role services and maintains multiple bulk accounts by merchandising approved products and packages using safe handling techniques and following all quality guidelines. The merchandiser follows plan sets, planograms, and communicates with store management and cross‑functional personnel.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Fills, merchandises and rotates products on display and shelves according to procedures and special programs.
• Physically moves products from the backroom to display.
• Creates and distributes point‑of‑sale materials on display and shelves where permitted. Rotates product. Fills and merchandises Fastlane merchandisers and vendors; checks vendor operations.
• Organizes and maintains the backroom by stacking and arranging products by package and flavor, returning empty pallets and shells, damaged and out‑of‑date product to the branch.
• Fosters business relationships with store personnel through routine follow‑up on requests, proactive pricing, special programs, new opportunities, and upcoming activity discussions.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

• Effective communication skills – listening, speaking, writing.
• Prior customer service experience preferred in retail.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to satisfy a variety of customers.
• Willingness to work in a fast‑paced, physically demanding environment (lifting 50 lbs. repetitively).
• Ability to work reliably and independently with minimal supervision.
• Critical thinking skills.
• Company provided cell phone.

Minimum Qualifications

• Valid in‑state driver’s license.
• Excellent driving history.
• Proof of insurance policy to verify current coverage: liability and property damage at no less than $50,000 per person/$100,000 per accident/ $50,000 property damage and $500 or less deductible effective from first day of employment.

• Excellent driving history.

Work Environment

The work environment varies, including exposure to weather conditions, coolers, and customer storage areas that may be non‑temperature controlled.
