Overview

Retail Display Installer – Technology

Location:

Travel up to 90 miles from home on average; paid drive time & mileage reimbursement.

Schedule:

Work Monday–Friday; weekends are not required.

Role

2020 Companies seeks a reliable, detail-oriented, and self-motivated Field Service Representative to join our team and represent leading brands like Dell, Intel, Dyson, Google, and HP. In this role, you’ll execute a wide range of in-store tasks, including:

  • Installing and updating sales floor fixtures and endcaps
  • Performing build-outs, resets, and display repairs
  • Following plan-o-grams and client-specific directives

You’ll work independently, meet deadlines, and use mobile applications and technology to complete assignments efficiently and professionally. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential for managing store-level relationships and ensuring top-quality execution on every project.

Key Responsibilities
  • Respond and maintain regular communication with field services management (typically within 24 hours of contact)
  • Keep availability updated and accurate
  • Complete all assigned jobs on or before scheduled end dates
  • Install and build displays, end caps, and fixturing
  • Complete necessary forms/images/surveys associated with each job before leaving the site
  • Maintain and update displays according to planograms/client requests
  • Conduct break-fix repairs to ensure displays and fixtures are fully functional
  • Participate in early-morning installations and those involving a team of 2+ people; provide solution feedback
  • Manage virtual software and ensure timely execution of tasks
  • Collaborate with team members as needed
  • Submit accurate timecards and report any anomalies daily
  • Work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Participate in and complete training and certification programs
  • Track, record, and communicate activity via designated systems/workflows
  • Available for weekend assignments as needed
Scheduling & Planning
  • Hours and locations may vary week to week, including occasional weekends; early morning hours may be required
  • Accept and schedule all assigned jobs within 48 hours of receipt
Project Execution
  • Follow directives and execute tasks fully
  • Collaborate with the shared services team to drive solutions and operational efficiencies
Relationship Development
  • Build and maintain strong relationships within the shared services team, clients, retailers, and other stakeholders
Leadership & Cross-functional Work
  • Demonstrate professionalism, effective communication, and leadership while representing the company
  • Foster a positive work environment with transparent communication
  • Collaborate across the organization to ensure alignment and success
Customer & Client Satisfaction
  • Strive for ongoing customer and client satisfaction according to shared service KPIs
Qualifications
  • Must be 18 or older and authorized to work in the United States
  • Flexible availability Monday through Friday; weekend/holiday availability as needed
  • Early morning and late-night availability as needed
  • Maintain a minimum of 20 hours of fieldwork within a rolling 30-day period
  • Physical: climb a ladder up to 10 feet; safely lift and carry up to 60 lbs; kneel, walk, crouch, bend, reach overhead
  • Adaptability to changing tasks and environments
  • Effective communication via phone, text, and email; use of a smartphone for clocking in/out, photos, and apps
  • High school diploma or equivalent; retail/merchandising experience beneficial but not required
  • Installation and merchandising experience; proficiency with hand and power tools; ability to follow planograms
  • Own Android or Apple mobile device to upload photos and data
  • Must complete all training assignments within designated time frame
  • Must have reliable transportation; valid driver’s license and proof of insurance
  • Willingness to travel up to 90 miles from home per assignment
