As a Merchandiser, you will help people celebrate holidays and special moments by displaying and maintaining inventory levels of our greeting cards, gift wrap accessories, party goods, plush, and more across various retail locations.
Job DescriptionAs a Merchandiser, you are a vital part of our company’s purpose: making the world a more thoughtful and caring place every single day. You will work independently, showcasing organization and time‑management skills to display products within greeting card departments and other retail locations.
Pay- The starting pay is $12.60 per hour, with increases during the first year of employment.
- After 6 months, the rate increases to $13.30.
- After 1 year, the rate increases to $14.00.

This route will service the following retail locations: 9841 Northlake Centre Pkwy, Charlotte, NC, 28216; 8445 Davis Lake Pkwy; 8138 Mount Holly Huntersville Rd; 9733 Northlake Centre Pkwy Unit A; 4022 Frank Vance Rd; 6542 Statesville Rd; 9548 Mt Holly Huntersville Rd, Huntersville, NC; and 9432 Mount Holly Huntersville Rd, Huntersville, NC. The weekly average hours are 12 per week, increasing to about 20 around major holidays.
PrimaryResponsibilities
- Service stores on your assigned route, including merchandising, organizing product orders, displaying product within greeting card departments and other retail locations, and maintaining an organized backroom area.
- Communicate with management any questions or concerns regarding service or schedules.
- Work in a fast‑paced retail environment utilizing effective time‑management and organizational skills.
- Partner and build relationships with retail store associates and management during daytime business hours.
- Be available for additional working days and extended hours leading up to and immediately following major holidays.
- Provide occasional assistance with store resets, including minor fixture work, product assembly, relocation, or removal as requested.
- Review and plan your weekly service schedule and workload using a company‑issued tablet.
- Work independently and as part of a team.
No experience necessary – we will train you.
Qualifications- 18 years or older.
- Ability to speak, read, write, and understand English.
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Reliable transportation (most routes have multiple retail locations).
- Reliable internet access to receive critical job information and updates.
- Technological competency – able to learn and use a company‑provided tablet for training and daily tasks.
- Availability for occasional weekends, the day before and after major holidays (e.g., Valentine’s Day, Easter, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas).
You will work on the sales floor and in the backstock room, pushing, pulling, lifting, and carrying cartons, merchandise, and fixtures of up to 40 pounds. You must be able to stand, walk, stoop, and squat throughout the shifts. A step stool may be used for certain tasks. Reasonable accommodations may be made.
