Route Specialist CDL

The Route Specialist will cover the routes of teammates when they are away and maintain their established routes, including orders, delivery, and unloading products at customer locations on designated routes. Responsibilities include stocking and facing products on displays and shelves, ensuring rotation standards are maintained. The role may involve training new teammates, assisting the Supervisor, handling urgent customer needs, and serving as an ambassador of our company and brands.

• Cover vacation routes to maintain standards and sales, ensuring high customer service levels.
• Order, fill, merchandise, and rotate products on shelves, displays, cold vaults, and coolers according to standards.
• Perform activities per route discipline (bulk, conventional, full service, cold bottle).
• Assist the Supervisor in training new teammates and support safety, efficiency, and customer service goals.
• Address urgent customer needs promptly and professionally, collaborating with sales, delivery, and customer management teams.
• Support supervisor with projects and other duties as assigned.

• Ability to perform duties with minimal supervision and exercise sound judgment.
• Dependability, initiative, professional demeanor, and safety consciousness.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and lift up to 50 lbs. repeatedly.
• Availability for some weekends and holidays.
• Preferred experience in route delivery, stocking, merchandising, or retail management.
• Excellent safety record and ability to operate manual and powered handling equipment.
• Proficiency in English, basic math skills, and capability to cover any route discipline.

• Valid driver’s license with an excellent 7-year driving record.
• Possession or ability to obtain a Class A CDL permit.
• Ability to pass D.O.T. physical requirements.

• High school diploma or GED.
• Retail management or merchandising experience.

Work environment varies, including exposure to weather, coolers, and customer storage areas, which may be non-temperature controlled.
