Retail & Store Manager, Operations Manager
The accounting office is key to maintaining the accuracy and integrity of the store's financial transactions. As an Accounting Office Team Leader, you are responsible for the operations of the department, monitoring the financial activities of the store and assisting departments in ensuring their financial accuracy. You’ll train and develop a team of employees to protect the store’s assets to assist departments to best serve our customers.

- Manage and develop a team of employees, engage in meaningful conversations, build trusted relationships and provide the resources, feedback, and development opportunities they need to be successful
- Ensure the team provides incredible service to store management, employees and customers by balancing and maintaining money (tills, sales, ATM, lottery), verifying payroll and financial data, and ensuring fully stock tills
- Manage and ensure department operations run efficiently, safety and security of store assets are maintained, practices and procedures are followed and confidentiality is upheld
- Run profit and loss reports, help solve financial inconsistencies and solutions, manage payroll, work with cash flow departments, give loans, and check for discrepancies
- Perform hourly pick-ups and readings to monitor sales and revenue, check for overages, shortages, and causes for discrepancy; prepare daily deposits, verify prior day’s bank activities
- 1 or more years of customer service, cashier, accounting office and/or service desk experience
- Experience working as a cashier and operating a cash register
- Passion for food and people with enthusiasm to learn more about the product
- Systems aptitude
- Experience handling large sums of cash or other types of tenders
- Experience working in a bank or accounting firm
- Experience coordinating the daily work of others
- Enthusiasm for and knowledge of relevant products and services
- Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new situations and subject matters

- Work Environment:
The physical demands of this work are classified as light. Work includes repetitive hand and arm movements, standing for up to four hours without a break, walking, occasional bending and reaching, along with continuous interaction with coworkers in a fast-paced enclosed environment. The average weight range of items lifted is 1 – 10 pounds with a maximum weight lifted of 25 pounds occasionally.
Upper extremity repetition is moderately high and trunk movement involves moderately low twisting, bending, and pivoting. May be exposed to various allergens (things that may cause an allergic reaction). The work environment is indoors and enclosed.
