You will be held accountable for the restaurant's financial and operational performance. As a restaurant general manager, you will staff, interview, hire, and train teams, as well as coach, manage, and develop them. You must ensure that the restaurant complies with all local, state, and federal regulations.
As a restaurant general manager, you must be able to lead a team and provide excellent customer service. - Responsible for marketing direction and creative promotions and community events
- Deliver excellent quality of visitor satisfaction when dining in the restaurant
- Verify the quality of all products and services according to the company's criteria
- Build restaurant staff through recruiting, interviewing, and training food service professionals
- Prepare a thorough business strategy for the restaurant, taking into account the local market, the competition, revenue, and costs
- This position requires a high school diploma or GED
- Must have previous experience in food service managing food inventory levels, operating costs, and budgets
- Must have 2-3 years prior experience managing a staff or in a relevant supervisory role, preferably in food service
- Have superb communication skills, organizational skills, and problem-solving skills
- Computer skills and experience with MS Office strongly desired
