Position:
Busser/Food Runner
Schedule: Flexible to work Mon - Sat, 4:00 - 8:30pm and Sundays 9:00am - 3:00pm. Up to 29 hours weekly. Must be available holidays and weekends.
Pay: Starting at $15.00 per hour depending on experience
Location: Charlotte, NC 28210

The Cypress of Charlotte is recruiting for a hospitality focused Busser/Food Runner to join our team. This position is responsible for full-scope, hands on food delivery, serving and bussing in the Community Culinary Services Department.
Primary Responsibilities- The Busser/Food Runner is responsible for assisting the wait staff with table service in the Community dining rooms and delivering to-go meals throughout campus
- Assists in clearing, cleaning, and resetting tables
- Assists in the stocking of waiter/waitress stations
- Keeps all tables and chairs free of crumbs
- Carries trays to/from dining room as needed
- Helps keep coffee pots full--pours when needed
- Helps keep water pitchers full--pours when needed
- Delivers to-go meals to member’s homes throughout campus
- Hospitality-driven with excellent customer service
- Experience in food service work preferred but will train
- Experience in working with seniors preferred
- Ability to work in close cooperation with members, guests, visitors, families, supervisor and peers. Requires courtesy, tact and graciousness
- Driver's license required, may drive company vehicle during deliveries
- Must be able to effectively communicate, read, write, and follow oral and written instructions in English.
