Broker In Charge

We are seeking an experienced and highly responsible Broker-in-Charge (BIC) to oversee brokerage operations and ensure full compliance with North Carolina Real Estate Commission (NCREC) rules and state laws. The BIC will provide leadership, supervision, and guidance to affiliated brokers while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and ethics.

• Serve as the Broker-in-Charge as defined by the North Carolina Real Estate Commission
• Ensure compliance with all NCREC rules, state laws, and brokerage policies
• Supervise and manage all affiliated brokers and provisional brokers
• Oversee trust account management and ensure proper handling of client funds
• Review and maintain transaction files, contracts, and disclosures
• Provide training, mentoring, and ongoing support to agents
• Establish and enforce office policies and procedures
• Address and resolve compliance issues, complaints, or disputes
• Act as the primary point of contact with the North Carolina Real Estate Commission
• Promote ethical conduct and best practices within the brokerage

• Active North Carolina Real Estate Broker License
• Current Broker-in-Charge (BIC) eligible status or BIC designation
• Minimum experience required by NCREC to serve as BIC
• Strong knowledge of North Carolina real estate laws and regulations
• Proven leadership, supervisory, and organizational skills
• High level of integrity, professionalism, and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities

• Prior experience serving as a Broker-in-Charge
• Experience managing or supervising a real estate office or team
• Strong administrative and compliance background

• May work in-office, hybrid, or remote depending on brokerage structure
• Must be available to address compliance matters as needed
