Introduction

Our client is a hospital in Charlotte, North Carolina, seeking a full-time or part-time Associate Veterinarian to join their team. The hospital provides comprehensive care to dogs and cats, including preventative medicine, diagnostics, surgery, dentistry, and senior pet care, with additional focus on urgent care needs. AAHA-accredited, Fear Free certified, and dedicated to low-stress handling, the hospital is committed to delivering the highest standards of care while treating every client and patient like family.

The hospital is open Monday through Friday from 8:00am until 5:30pm, with extended hours until 7:00pm on Wednesdays, and on Saturdays from 8:00am until 2:00pm. For this role, doctors are required to cover weekend shifts on Saturdays and Sundays from 8:00am until 4:00pm. Full-time employment can be achieved by adding one or two weekday shifts to this schedule. The hospital offers flexibility in scheduling to support both part-time and full-time veterinarians.

Role Description and Responsibilities

The Associate Veterinarian will provide high-quality, client-centered care across a broad range of services, including preventative medicine, diagnostics, dentistry, surgery, pain management, and senior pet care. Responsibilities include performing examinations, interpreting diagnostic results, developing treatment plans, and maintaining clear client communication and education. The position is open to experienced veterinarians as well as newer graduates who are eager to practice medicine in a supportive, team-oriented environment.

The hospital is fully equipped with modern facilities designed to support efficient, compassionate care. Services include wellness and preventive care, diagnostic testing, dental procedures, senior pet care, surgery, and pain management. As an AAHA-accredited and Fear Free certified practice, the hospital is committed to low-stress handling and upholding the highest standards of patient care. Team
