The Spray Technician is responsible for providing treatment services for residential and commercial grounds upkeep. This role involves applying pesticides, herbicides, and fertilizers to ensure healthy plant growth, weed control and pest management in landscape environments.
Responsibilities- Apply pesticides, herbicides, and fertilizers to properties in accordance with product specifications.
- Prepare and maintain necessary reports, documents, and maintenance records.
- Maintain on-site relations and communication with supervisor, clients, vendors, and teams.
- Promptly respond to client questions or requests for additional services.
- Perform work safely in accordance with company standards.
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness.
- Maintain inventory of spray equipment and chemicals.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Two years of related professional experience preferred.
- NC Pesticide License preferred.
- Valid Driver’s License with an acceptable driving record.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and perform physical labor for prolonged periods of time in a wide range of climatic conditions including extremes of heat and cold.
- Knowledge of spraying/spreading equipment.
- Proficiency in using a variety of computer software applications, including Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Proficiency in basic math, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, area, and square feet.
- Self-starter with excellent time management and prioritization ability.
- Understand and use proper safety procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with coworkers, supervisors, and clients.
