PRN ASC Registered Nurse - OR Circulator

Overview

Ortho Carolina is seeking a PRN ASC Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Mallard Creek Ambulatory Surgery Center location. We are a diverse team with a focus on quality, teamwork, service and community. This role is 10 hours per week, normally within the hour structure 5:00am-7:30pm. Ambulatory experience is preferred; PACU experience is required.

• The RN functions as a team member in an ASC environment, with cross-training to other primary areas including but not limited to assisting with turnover and other day-to-day ASC operations.
• Coordinates the telephone pre-admission assessment process for patients in the ASC environment.

• Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing, College or University.
• Current NC RN license/registration.
• At least two years’ experience in ambulatory settings; PACU experience required.
• BLS, ACLS and PALS certifications.

• Experience in delivering excellent service to physicians and patients and participating in high-performing teams.
• Ability to function as a team member in an ASC environment through cross-training to other primary areas including but not limited to assisting with turnover and all other aspects of day-to-day ASC operations.
