What We're Looking For
  • Education:

    2 Year / Associate Degree, required. 4 Year / Bachelors Degree, preferred.
  • Experience:

    Three years nursing Experience, required. Four years Oncology Nursing (medical or surgical) Experience, preferred.
  • Licensure/Certification:
    • Current RN licensure in appropriate state, required.
    • ONS Chemotherapy Provider, preferred.
    • Certification in Oncology (OCN, BMT), required.
  • Additional Skills (required):
    Will allow candidate to earn OCN and / or ONS Chemo Provider certification in the two year period following employment
  • Additional Skills (preferred):
    • Excellent human relation skills, possess effective oral and written communication skills, possess leadership and problem solving skills, operate personal computer independently.
    • Demonstrates awareness of legal issues in all aspects of patient care. Displays excellent verbal and written communication skills. Possesses knowledge of NMG/FMC policies/standards. Demonstrates self-directed learning through completion of any orientation requirements, nursing certification/updates and continuing education programs. Possesses clinical assessment skills relative to the hematology or oncology patient/family. Experience and knowledge of the purpose and use of medications in the treatment of cancer.
