Patient Flow Coordinator - RN

What We Offer

Join our 26‑member Patient Placement Team, supporting 7 hospitals around the clock. In this fast‑paced role, you’ll manage patient placement and transfers while working across 4 screens and multiple systems including Epic, Transfer Center, Bed Placement, Voalte, Genesys, and Teams to keep care moving smoothly.

• Triage calls & transfers like a pro
• Coordinate air and ground transport
• Partner with stroke, trauma & emergency teams
• Manage patient placement across hospitals

• 3 weekend shifts every 6 weeks (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM, 36 hours/week)
• Rotating holidays (2 major + 1 minor)
• No call shifts

• RN with 2+ years acute care (ED or critical care required, patient flow experience a plus)
• Strong clinical judgment & multitasking skills
• Tech‑savvy and confident communicating with physicians
• Thrives in a fast‑paced, autonomous environment

• Hands‑on experience with multiple systems and processes

• Education:
  
  Associates Degree, required. BSN preferred.
• Experience:
  
  2 years experience, required. Previous leadership and bed utilization experience is preferred.
• Licensure/Certification:
  Current RN license, required.

  Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, high level of problem solving and critical thinking skills to find solutions to difficult human, technical, clinical or administrative problems. Excellent problem analysis skills to develop solutions. Strong clinical skills and the ability to manage/coordinate effectively the work of non‑subordinates.
