• Intermittent holidays/weekends required.

Pay Range $34.90 – $52.35

This position is Sign-on Bonus eligible.

The Pediatric Satellite Team provides supplemental staffing across Atrium Health Levine Children’s Hospital in Charlotte, NC and occasionally Atrium Health Cabarrus Levine Children’s Jeff Gordon Children’s Center in Concord, NC. RN’s primarily support the general pediatric medical surgical units, but have the ability to cross-train in specialty areas within Levine Children’s Hospital i.e., Children’s ED, CVICU, PICU, Neonatal, Progressive, and obtain Chemo certification.

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
• PALS certification is required within 6 months of hire.
• One year of pediatric in-patient RN experience is preferred.

• As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
• Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.

We have 4 pediatric hospitalist teams, a newly expanded 24 bed PICU and 20 bed Cardiac ICU, an 85-bed Level IV NICU, and an inpatient pediatric rehabilitation floor. Levine Children’s Hospital is also Charlotte’s only Level 1 Pediatric Trauma Center. LCH has been named a Best Children’s Hospital by U.S. News & World Report for 18 consecutive years and is nationally ranked in 7 pediatric specialties.
