Overview
CRNA - Atrium Health CMC Main
Responsibilities- Assembles necessary supplies and equipment, and administers intravenous, spinal, and other anesthetics prior to surgical or other medical procedures. Monitors patients' reactions and vital signs during and after anesthesia and takes remedial action when warranted. Submits postoperative report on patients' condition and maintains records of anesthetics administered.
- NC RN licensure required. Graduate of an accredited School of Nurse Anesthesia required. CRNA licensure required. BLS and ACLS PALS from AHA required. Ability to do Peds liver transplants, Peds cardiac, and to perform spinals and epidurals.
CMC serves as the region's only Level 1 trauma center and is an approved transplant center for heart, kidney, pancreas and liver. It is one of North Carolina's 5 Academic Medical Center Teaching Hospitals, providing residency training for more than 200 physicians in 15 specialties and serving as a regional campus for Wake Forest University School of Medicine.
