RN AH Pineville PACU PRN Variable with Call

Schedule Details: PRN minimum of 48 hours in a 6‑week schedule period, 1 call shift per six‑week period.

Part time. Hours per week: 0. Pay Range: $34.90 – $52.35.

Where You Will Work:
Atrium Pineville PACU department cares for both inpatient and outpatient surgical procedures. PACU nurses are responsible for immediate post‑operative care of surgical and some procedural patients in "phase I recovery care" and occasionally "phase II" and discharging patients leaving the facility. There are 21 individual patient care bays, access to two medication Omnicells, and a centralized nurse’s station. Teammates work closely with surgeons, anesthesia teams, and OR staff to deliver excellent care to our patients.

We offer a great culture with great leadership support. Leadership structure includes three clinical supervisors, one of which is primarily focused on education, and a unit manager.

Qualifications
  • Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
  • Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
  • Previous Critical Care, Emergency Department or PACU experience strongly preferred for this role
  • ACLS required
Responsibilities
  • As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Using evidence‑based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
