As a Registered Nurse (RN), Home Infusion you will work outside the walls of a hospital setting in a growing specialized area of nursing. If you are spending 12 hours per day on your feet or rushing from patient to patient with no time to provide quality patient care, this would be the perfect opportunity to change your work environment.

• Provide a broad range of infusion therapies in our patients’ homes

• Make a difference by using your clinical IV experience and personal touch to assist our patients recovering in the comfort of their own home

• Provide one-on-one home infusion nursing care visits and patient education in accordance with the physician’s plan of treatment

• Additional licensure may be required in multi-state service areas

• Must have excellent written and verbal customer service skills in order to interact with the patient, physician, pharmacist and other partners

• Must be willing to travel up to two hours each way, on occasion for a patient visit.

• This is a flexible per diem position working 10-20 hours/week

• Hours are primarily during the day. On occassion hours could go into the very early early evening, but not very often.

• Our nurses participate in a telephonic oncall rotation of one evening/week and one weekend/month. There are no in-person visits when on call!

• Rotational telephonic holiday oncall participtation

• You will work independently visiting patients in Charlotte and surrounding areas, covering an approximate 150-mile radius. On rare occasions, you must be willing/able to travel up to two hours each way for a patient visit. Driving further than 1.5 hours is rare but must be willing to do so.

• You are compensated for all travel and patient time at your hourly rate

Challenge your clinical nursing (RN) skills by receiving continuous training on leading edge technology and clinical requirements in specialty infusion. Certification and recertification expenses, such as for Certified Registered Nurse of Infusion (CRNI®), can be reimbursed for eligible RNs!

• Registered Nurse with current license in state of employment. Additional licensure may be required in multi-state service areas.

• Minimum one year nursing experience; IV-related experience a plus

• Have and maintain current CPR certification

• Possess a valid and current driver’s license and auto insurance

• Have experience with Microsoft Office, Excel, Outlook and Word to document and track patient care activity.

• Participate in on call rotation as indicated by staffing and business needs. Minimum 5 weekdays M-F and one weekend Saturday/Sunday per month.

• Three years’ nursing experience

• One year infusion experience

• Home healthcare experience

• CRNI certification preferred, not required

RN Diploma, Associates or B.S. degree in nursing

The typical pay range for this role is:

$26.01 - $56.14

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
