Full time days (3 12-hour shifts per week, ). Rotating weekends (every 3rd weekend) and holidays (2 summer and 2 winter).
The Levine Children’s Hospital Rehabilitation team at LCH 4P is a 13-bed pediatric inpatient unit dedicated to providing comprehensive physical rehabilitation for children from infancy to 18 years. Our multidisciplinary approach ensures 24-hour physician and nursing care, along with specialized therapies including physical, occupational, speech, and recreational therapy, as well as school support. Our nurses play a vital role in delivering holistic care, from daily living activities and medication administration to advanced procedures like tracheostomy and ventilator care, all while educating and supporting patients, families, and caregivers.
WhatYou’ll Do
- As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
- Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
- 1 year of inpatient nursing experience preferred. At least 6 months required experience in order to come in outside of the New Grad residency program.
- Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing.
- Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association.
- ACLS and PALS are required within 6 months of hire.
