JOB DETAILS :
Avg. Daily Census: 75-90;
Our department has 80 treatment bays with a mix of beds and chairs. 63 Chairs & 17 Beds/Stretchers SHIFT:
* 40 Hours Can Be Offered Will Accept 13 Weeks. 10 HOUR DAYS; 07:30 - 18:00
*** RTO: 7 DAYS MAX for AYA AUTO OFFER
*** Call Requirement: NONE Float Requirement: NONE Weekend Requirement: 2 per 6 weeks/The 2 Weekends vary depending on the volumes on our schedule. They would typically be 6-8H shifts. Weekends would be negotiable in order to meet their 40H/week. PATIENT AGE GROUP:
Adolescents, Adults & Geriatrics PATIENT DIAGNOSES:
All cancer diagnosis, Classical hematology, Malignant hematology SPECIAL PROCEDURES / UNIT DETAILS:
1. Blood administration and monitoring
2. Medication administration and monitoring
3. Chemotherapy/immunotherapy administration (including intravenous, subcutaneous, intramuscular and intravesicular routes) 4. Central line management/lab draws
5. Therapeutic phlebotomy
6. Peripherally Inserted Central Catheter (PICC) placement
7. Clinical assessments and management of patients with blood disorders
8. Chemotherapy/Immunotherapy for oncologic purposes that are not provided in the inpatient setting
9. Clinical Research including Phase 1 trials SPECIAL EQUIPMENT:
Alaris infusion pump, Elastomeric ambulatory infusion pump, CADD Solis ambulatory infusion pump, Massimo vital machine, Phlebotomy scale & Amma scalp cooling device UNIT SYSTEMS:
Pyxis, EPIC PREFERRED, SBAR SCHEDULING TYPE:
