What We Offer

    7pm – 7am (Night Shift), Part‑time (24 hours/week)

Role Overview

This is a 21‑bed unit with a 1:1 patient ratio, managing complex patient needs efficiently, prioritizing safety and individualized care. Demonstrated excellent teamwork and communication with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

The Registered Nurse serves as a leader of the healthcare team at Novant Health by establishing an authentic personalized relationship with the patient and their chosen support system, collaborating with physicians and other team members to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate an individualized plan of care that promotes optimal health or supports a peaceful death. The RN utilizes best scientific evidence and compassion to assist the patient in navigating their health journey, accepting responsibility, authority, and accountability for management and provision of care in accordance with current policies and procedures.

What

You’ll Do
  • Deliver exceptional patient care in a highly complex ICU environment.
  • Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other clinicians to develop and execute individualized care plans.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient assessment, interventions, and outcomes.
  • Ensure compliance with all institutional policies, procedures, and regulations.
  • Participate in quality improvement activities and contribute to continuous improvement.
What We’re Looking For
  • Education:

    Bachelor’s Degree preferred; graduatekja()
  • License:
    Current RN licensure in applicable state; inactive, retired, or lapsed license for five years or more requires a Board‑approved refresher course and re‑licensure within one year of completion.
  • Experience:

    At least one year of relevant experience preferred.
  • Skills:

    Strong clinical assessment skills, ability to work in a fast‑paced ICU, excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
