As an Events Assistant, you’ll connect with the community, support events hands‑on, and use face‑to‑face marketing to drive donor sign‑ups, giving you real experience in sales, fundraising, and making an impact.
Key Responsibilities- Participate in daily one‑on‑one and team training sessions to review goals, performance metrics, and upcoming events.
- Set up event kiosks, signage, and displays in high‑traffic areas to maximize engagement.
- Approach and engage community members in a friendly, authentic manner to share stories about our nonprofit partners.
- Inspire contributions and encourage participation in fundraising activities (a portion of your role includes sales/converting interest into donations).
- Collaborate with team members to optimize donor engagement and fundraising results.
- Take initiative to suggest improvements in messaging, engagement strategies, or event setup.
- Contribute to a positive, high‑energy team environment during events and team meetings.
