- Develop and implement annual and long-term fundraising strategies for Givens Aldersgate, aligned with Givens Communities’ overarching philanthropy goal
- Lead the planning and execution of major gift efforts, annual giving programs, and special campaigns
- Build strong relationships with residents, families, and the broader Charlotte community to strengthen donor engagement
- Oversee all aspects of gift processing, including accurate recording, receipting, and acknowledgment of gifts in donor management systems
- Maintain donor database integrity and reporting in collaboration with the Givens Philanthropy data and finance teams
- Identify, write, and manage grant proposals from foundations, corporations, and government agencies
- Build partnerships with external organizations, faith communities, and civic groups to increase fundraising and outreach beyond the Givens network
- Serve as a visible representative of Givens Aldersgate at events, church gatherings, civic organizations, and resident programs
- Support the creation of events and activities that deepen donor relationships and highlight philanthropic success stories
- Perform any other duties and/or tasks that may be assigned on an as-needed basis by an authorized supervisor
- Minimum of 5–7 years of progressive experience in fundraising, philanthropy, or nonprofit management
- Experience in gift processing, donor relations, and grants management required
- Bachelor’s degree required in Business, Marketing, Nonprofit Management, Public Relations, or a related field

It s kind of a long story, but at our core, we re a senior housing organization with a lot of heart and committed to providing housing to seniors of all socioeconomic backgrounds across WNC for more than 40 years. We already have five communities (three life plan communities and two affordable communities) with plans for many more in the coming years.
