Position: SMALL CRAFT OPERATOR

job summary

you will serve as a small craft operator in the port operations division of navbase kitsap silverdale wa.

major duties
  • you will interpret navigational charts to select a safe course for a trip.
  • you will conduct fire, life raft, or man overboard drills to maintain small craft operating crew proficiency.
  • you will follow established practices and maritime laws to provide continuously reliable and safe operation of small craft.
  • you will report major repairs for corrective action on small craft.
