Role and Responsibilities- Operate spiral machine to complete orders in a timely manner
- Assist with spiral fittings and spiral insulation as needed
- Provide the best quality and productive work without constant reminder.
- Communicate with management, superintendent
- Check to ensure that each job order is accurate and complete
- Maintain spiral machinery (such as spiral fitting machines, spiral pipe machines)
- Maintain, clean, and organize work area
- Cross-communication with spiral fitting team to ensure product accuracy
- Update order status daily
- Assist with general work activities per the direction of the shop Supervisor to complete the activities
- Support the mechanic, foremen, and superintendent to complete the project in a timely manner
- Other such duties and responsibilities as assigned by the company from time to time

- Experience with spiral and/or spiral fitting fabrication preferred
- Must be able to work flexible schedule—days, and some weekends
- Present yourself in a professional manner
- Must be able to work with variety of tools, follow directions and be able to read and write
- Hand Tools

- Hammer
- Tape measure
- Shop Equipment to include Metal Breaks, Shears
- Forklift operation
- Required
Education:
High School graduate or equivalent - Must successfully pass a background check & drug test
- Knowledge of HVAC or Construction preferred
Exposure to high noise intensity level, exposure to moving mechanical parts, exposure to forklift traffic. The shop is climate-controlled.
Physical Demands- Occasional sitting; frequent stooping, crouching, kneeling, balancing; constant standing, walking, reaching, and gripping
- Vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus; talk and hear
- Occasional lifting up to 50 lbs. (maximum solo lift) and constant lifting to 25 lbs.; heavy physical demand classification (PDC)
- Material Handling:
Frequent lifting up to 50 lbs. and constant lifting to 25 lbs. (PDC)
