- Experience: 2–3 years of leadership experience in a high-speed manufacturing environment (Strongly prefer high-speed bottling experience).
- Technical Expertise: Proven ability to troubleshoot complex manufacturing systems and a deep understanding of the theory of operation for industrial equipment.
- Leadership: Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively across all levels—from front-line personnel to senior management.
- Education: College degree in Management or Engineering
. - Systems: High proficiency in PC skills and CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems).
- Availability: Ability to work a flexible schedule, including rotating weekends and holiday responsibilities as needed.
The Maintenance Supervisor is a critical leadership role responsible for directing maintenance crews to achieve excellence in Safety, People Development, Quality, and Operational Cost Management. As the designated Key Backup for the Maintenance Manager
, this individual must possess the technical depth to troubleshoot high-speed equipment and the professional maturity to lead the department in the Manager’s absence.
- Safety Leadership: Establish and maintain a "Safety First" culture; conduct regular safety audits, monitor team behavior, and provide immediate corrective feedback.
- Regulatory Excellence: Ensure all maintenance activities comply with GMP, HACCP, SQF (Safe Quality Food), and Food Defense principles.
- Quality Assurance: Audit repair quality to ensure equipment returns to production in peak condition; ensure all work is meticulously documented within the CMMS
.
- Asset Reliability: Ensure all production and support equipment is "Ready to Run" as scheduled; minimize downtime through effective execution of the PM schedule.
- Root Cause Analysis (RCA): Analyze equipment failures and repetitive repairs to implement permanent technical solutions.
- Fiscal Responsibility: Optimize MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Operations) spend and identify opportunities for cost reduction through process improvements.
- Mentorship: Lead, coach, and mentor a technical team to hit plant KPIs and individual growth goals.
- Training & Resources: Identify skill gaps and ensure the team is equipped with the training and tools necessary to perform high-level technical tasks safely.
- Operational Intelligence: Thorough knowledge of line processes, changeovers, setups, and industrial adjustments.
- Data Fluency: Strong mathematical competence with the ability to analyze and report on First Time Quality, Efficiency, and PM Completion Rates
. - Soft Skills: High integrity, self-motivated, and a "sense of urgency" regarding production deadlines.
- Language: Full professional proficiency in speaking, reading, and writing English.
