Job summary
The Mechanical Production Manager is responsible for overseeing mechanical production operations by managing supervisors, ensuring efficient workflow, and maintaining quality and safety standards. This role facilitates communication between production, project management, engineering, and purchasing while ensuring the latest revision drawings are used. Additionally, the Mechanical Production Manager plays a key role in addressing disciplinary actions, troubleshooting technical issues, and ensuring a clean and organized shop floor.
Responsibilities- Minimum of 7 years of experience in mechanical manufacturing, with at least 3 years in a managerial or supervisory role.
- Strong understanding of mechanical systems, fabrication processes, and production operations.
- Experience working with QA standards and customer quality requirements.
- Proven ability to manage teams, coordinate schedules, and ensure production efficiency.
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in using production planning tools, quality control systems, and reporting software.
- Experience enforcing workplace safety regulations and fostering a safe work environment.
- Ability to travel to North America with valid passport
