Production Manager

Overview

A fast‑growing, high‑volume food & beverage manufacturer in the Charlotte, NC area is seeking a hands-on, people‑focused Production Manager to lead daily operations within a dynamic, fast-paced facility. This role is essential in driving production performance, ensuring safety and food quality compliance, and fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement. The ideal candidate is an energetic leader with strong floor presence who excels at coaching teams, optimizing processes, and delivering measurable results.

• Lead and supervise production teams across assigned shift(s), ensuring efficient, safe, and high‑quality operations.
• Drive performance to meet or exceed KPIs including throughput, yield, labor efficiency, and waste reduction.
• Ensure strict adherence to GMPs, HACCP, SQF, and all regulatory food safety requirements.
• Partner closely with Quality, Maintenance, and Supply Chain to resolve issues and maintain smooth operations.
• Implement and support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce downtime.
• Oversee scheduling, staffing, training, and development of production associates.
• Review daily production data and lead root-cause analysis to implement corrective actions.
• Promote and reinforce a culture of safety, accountability, and employee engagement.

• Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent experience also considered.
• 3+ years of production leadership experience in food, beverage, or CPG manufacturing

• Strong understanding of GMPs, food safety requirements, and lean manufacturing principles.
• Demonstrated ability to lead, develop, and motivate teams in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Proven track record of driving operational improvements and delivering KPI results.
• Flexibility to support multiple shifts or weekend operations as needed.
