Woodworker - Cabinet Specialist

Summary of Position: Roo Maven LLC seeks a skilled, motivated, reliable, and detail-oriented Woodworker-Cabinet Specialist with expertise in cabinet making to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for crafting high-quality wooden cabinets, ensuring precision, durability, and aesthetic appeal. This role requires strong attention to detail, proficiency with woodworking tools, and a passion for craftsmanship. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with other professionals and lead projects from conception through production.

• Design, build, and assemble custom cabinets according to specifications and blueprints.
• Be familiar and proficient in cutting, edge-banding, drilling, laminating, and finishing components.
• Measure, cut, and shape wood using hand tools and power tools.
• Apply finishes such as sanding, staining, and varnishing for a polished look.
• Inspect completed cabinets for quality and accuracy as needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized workshop environment.
• Collaborate with designers and clients to meet project requirements on time.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and proper tool usage.
• Safely operate carpentry equipment and hand tools.
• Knowledge of wood types and finishing techniques.
• Problem-solving and time management skills.
• Excellent hand-eye coordination and precision.
• Able to read blueprints, to ensure a tight fit and quality product.

• Proven experience in woodworking and manufacturing, specifically cabinet making.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and measurements.
• Proficiency with woodworking tools and machinery.
• Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship.
• Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy materials.
• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in woodworking preferred.
• Has experience operating a panel saw/beam saw.
• Has a valid work authorization in the USA.
• Minimum 2 years of work experience as a Woodworker, in cabinetry, and manufacturing.
• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lift or move 35-50+ lbs.
• Excellent communication skills.

Pay Range: $20-$25 per hour (Hourly, Non-Exempt);
Depending on work experience.

Schedule: This position is full-time—40 hours/week with a schedule Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM.
