Overview
Position:
Manufacturing Supervisor – Large Power Transformers.
Location:
Charlotte, NC (Siemens Energy Transformers Manufacturing Center). The facility will open early 2026.
This role leads production of large power transformers, ensuring safety, quality, cost efficiency and adherence to planning processes throughout the final execution.
Responsibilities- Develop and maintain a high‑performance team culture while adhering to manufacturing guidelines.
- Supervise daily production activities and contribute to planning, prioritizing based on EHS, quality and schedule.
- Promote technician engagement in EHS evaluations and Quality Gates.
- Track KPIs, monitor task progress and define mitigation plans for deviations.
- Conduct first‑level meetings to resolve process deviations.
- Develop and implement technician development plans.
- Lead protocol fulfillment for EHS, QA, Cyber Sec, etc.
- Work in the US without the need for VISA sponsorship.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in a technical field preferred; high school diploma or GED required.
- Experience: At least 3 years in a manufacturing supervisory role, preferably in the energy industry, with strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality control and safety standards.
- Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills, able to motivate a diverse team.
- Manufacturing Expertise: Experience leading production of power transformers (≥30 MVA, 75.5 kV).
- Production Coordination: Ability to coordinate schedules, manage logistics and optimize resources to meet timelines.

- Willingness to travel occasionally and relocate.
