- Support first article inspections (FAI) and source inspection activities as required.
- Adhere to all quality system requirements (e.g., ISO 9001) and applicable defense contract requirements (DFARS flow downs as applicable).
- Follow security, export control, and document control procedures when handling controlled drawings and data.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 2–5 years of quality inspection experience in a manufacturing environment; defense, aerospace, or other regulated industries preferred.
- Demonstrated experience performing visual weld inspection for presence and workmanship (CWI certification not required but beneficial).
- Experience inspecting powder-coated or painted parts for functional and cosmetic quality.
- Proficiency with hand gages and basic dimensional inspection techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and weld symbols.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to make objective, repeatable accept/reject decisions.
