Primary Purpose and Function:
The primary purpose of this position is to rebuild spindle units to OEM specifications.

• Disassemble spindle units and report suspected failures
• Clean parts and bearings for assembly
• Maintain work order, pull inventory for assembly, and document findings
• Assemble spindle and balance sub‑assembly
• Balance assembled spindles and run tests
• Prepare final inspection report and crate the spindle unit
• Help maintain a clean and safe working environment (5S)
• Support process improvements
• Work with other departments to solve problems

• 3-5 years of precision mechanical assembly
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability
• Able to read mechanical assembly and parts drawings
• Proficient use of mechanical measuring equipment such as caliper and dial indicators
• Strong attention to detail and capable of solving assembly issues
• Must work well independently as well as on a team
• Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office

• Ability to operate forklift and crane
• Machine maintenance or previous mechanical assembly/rebuilding experience
• Experience in bearing nomenclature/preload calculations, vibration analysis, and balancing principles
