The RoleStanley Black & Decker (NYSE: SWK) is seeking a strategic, innovative and results-oriented Regional Brand President for our flagship DEWALT portfolio in North America to translate global brand strategies into winning regional initiatives for the brand. Reporting directly to the Chief Commercial Officer for Americas, this leader is responsible for driving innovation, managing regional Brand strategies, and leading cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives such as market growth, product innovation, and sales and profit targets.
This role requires a deep understanding of users and customers and the ability to tailor global strategies to succeed in the North American market.
The DEWALT Regional Brand President & GM, North America will collaborate cross-functionally to deliver market leading brand execution and commercial results. This critical leader will ensure consistent brand activation and be a direct line of connectivity across our core Retail, Commercial, Industrial and Farm & Hardware channels in the region.
This position can be based in a number of remote locations on the East Coast.
Primary Accountabilities Brand Marketing Execution- Ensure consistent brand presence, positioning, and representation across North American channels of Retail, Commercial & Industrial and Farm & Hardware.
- Collaborate with Americas Marketing to localize and activate brand campaigns.
- Lead execution of regional marketing activation plans, ensuring alignment with overall brand strategy and market needs.
- Monitor and optimize marketing effectiveness to drive brand growth and engagement.
- Implement regional go-to-market strategies in partnership with cross-functional teams.
- Drive adoption and execution of focused trade plans to maximize category growth.
- Own regional brand P&L, ensuring financial targets are met and exceeded.
- Execute winning regional plans, adapting global strategies for local relevance and effectiveness.
- Oversee excellence in regional new product launches, ensuring flawless execution and market readiness.
- Identify and communicate specific regional requirements to global product teams.
- Manage product forecasting and Sales & Operations Planning to ensure supply alignment and commercial success in the region.
- Support sales growth strategies with commercial teams through strong partnerships both internally and externally. Partner to deliver best in class service levels for our customers.
- Drive business performance and accountability for in-market execution and results.
- Ensure delivery of monthly, quarterly, and annual business objectives, reporting progress
- Analyze market trends and performance metrics to inform strategic decisions and continuous improvement
- Foster strong a learning culture that is focused on speed and agility to deliver growth objectives.
- Lead through teaching to drive change management.
- Build followership and engagement for a best-in-class brand capability through improved succession planning, organizational assessment, identification of key skill gaps, and overall talent strategies that link with business goals.
The successful candidate will have demonstrated success leveraging global brand strategies for regional execution across North America, preferably in another leading consumer durables or manufactured products setting with a strong brand-driven culture.
