About the RoleJoin our dynamic Business Performance team as an Organization and Workforce Manager, where you will play a pivotal role in optimizing workforce, talent, and mobility strategies. You will be instrumental in future‑proofing our operations through the design, development, and influence on operating models and continuous change.
Key Responsibilities- Lead large‑scale organizational design projects from assessment to implementation.
- Advise stakeholders and build relationships with colleagues and clients.
- Collaborate to deliver innovative, insightful solutions for challenges such as structuring teams to support strategy and creating agile organizational structures.
- Drive project work streams, manage resources and budgets, and mitigate risks and issues.
- Influence and persuade clients and stakeholders to gain support for major change initiatives and decisions.
- Encourage collaboration and foster an inclusive work environment.
- Contribute to business development through proposal preparation and client presentations.
- Lead the development of thought leadership, EY approaches, tools, and methodologies in organization design.
- Coach and develop teams, acting as a visible role model.
- Strong project leadership, budgeting, and risk‑management skills.
- Deep understanding of organizational design, strategic workforce planning, and change management.
- Experience with acquisitions, divestitures, mergers, and their design implications.
- Technical competence in solving complex client challenges with a practical, business‑driven approach.
- Ability to generate revenue by identifying additional engagement opportunities.
- Demonstrated ability to influence and persuade stakeholders.
- Inclusive leadership and facilitation skills.
- HR knowledge in at least one sector such as Oil & Gas, Health, Telecommunications, Power & Utilities, Insurance, or Media & Entertainment.
- Client‑focused business development and pursuit experience.
- Passion for advancing the practice through thought leadership and methodology development.
- Coaching and development of team members.
- Relevant experience in a global management consultancy or niche consultancy with exposure to large‑scale projects.
- 6‑9 years of experience in Operating Model Development, Organizational Structure and Design, Strategic Workforce Planning, Capability Mapping, and Organizational Governance.
- Leadership of organizational design engagements in supply chain, IT, finance, customer, or sales & marketing domains.
- Proven track record in managing and analyzing large datasets and applying analytics to project execution.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, human resources, psychology, or a related field.
- Willingness to travel and comfortable working in a hybrid environment with approximately three days per week on client site or at EY office.
- Comprehensive compensation and benefits package, with base salary ranging from $125,900 to $231,100 (U.S. locations) and higher ranges for New York City, Washington State, and California.
