About the Job
Compass Group USA is seeking a Senior Manager, Payroll Training to lead and manage the Payroll Training and Development Team and Process. The successful candidate will be responsible for training and developing staff to improve accuracy and efficiency of payroll operations and systems, providing superior internal and external customer service, ensuring integrity, and increasing understanding of Compass payroll business processes.
Key Responsibilities:Implement strategies to improve retention and reduce turnover annually.Manage all aspects of payroll training operations in a complex environment.Provide subject matter expertise for developing training tools.Assist with documentation of system changes and their impact on training materials across departments.Review and update training materials and tools for all system applications based on regulatory and process changes.Provide training to department teams on topics such as new hire onboarding, system updates, and payroll regulations.Train field managers on key topics including MySTAFF/My Requests system, sector policies, compliance risks, and wage and hour regulations.Maintain knowledge base articles and update information on payroll-related websites.Coordinate the Summer Intern Program and department recruitment efforts.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university, preferably in Accounting or Finance.Minimum of 5 years of training experience.Preferably 3+ years of payroll experience.Proven track record in process reengineering to improve controls and efficiencies.Strong leadership skills with a hands-on approach.Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Knowledge of SAP and Time and Attendance systems.Flexibility to adapt in a changing environment and handle multiple tasks.Willingness to work extended hours and under pressure as needed.Passion for training and payroll functions.Travel requirement: approximately 10-15%.#J-18808-Ljbffr
