Overview

Lead liaison between lines of business (LOBs), operational support and information technology. Responsible for analyzing non-standard business and user needs, documenting requirements, and resolving complex system problems. Coordinates development and support for new and existing applications. Possesses a sound understanding of business systems and industry requirements. Acts as a team leader for assigned projects. Partners with the business unit to develop a solid knowledge base of the business line, including the business plan, products, processes and revenue streams.

Coordinates business requirements definition, development, testing, implementation and support for new and existing systems. Identifies, researches and analyzes production problems, develops solutions and coordinates resolutions. Oversees enhancements to maintain productivity and efficiency.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
  • Functions as the liaison between the business line, operations, and the technical areas throughout the project cycle.
  • Acts as team leader for projects.
  • Possesses strong knowledge of the business line, including the business plan, products, processes and revenue streams.
  • Plays a key role in planning, testing, and implementing system enhancements and conversions. Ensures enhancements follow IT guidelines, meet user requirements, and are completed in a timely fashion. May perform project leader roles for projects.
  • Identifies system enhancements, documents business needs and determines development impact to current processing. Works with programmers and users to ensure accuracy of enhancements.
  • Reviews operational procedures and methods and recommends changes for improvement with emphasis on automation and efficiency.
  • Provides input into detailed project plans, work assignments, target dates, and related aspects of assigned projects.
  • Provides guidance in prioritizing and determining the complexity of problems and requests.
  • Partners with technical areas to research and resolve system and process problems.
  • Identifies, researches, and analyzes production problems, develops solutions, and resolves problems.
  • Works with programming resources (in-house and third party) to ensure development work is completed to specification.
  • May perform some aspects of project management, including but not limited to approvals, readiness assessments, and other artifacts and controls.
  • Other duties as required.

Minimum Knowledge,

Skills And Abilities

Required
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in banking, financial services or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of project management experience. Six Sigma Green Belt or PMP preferred.
  • Experience with SQL, Python and Power BI for data analysis and reporting.
  • Proven leadership experience in operations, manufacturing or quality domains.
  • Broad understanding of business systems and industry requirements.
  • Ability to present to senior leadership on sensitive subject matters.
  • Ability to facilitate large groups toward developing common solutions.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication skills.
  • Ability to multi-task, be flexible, and manage multiple projects under pressure.
  • Proficient in Windows software (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Visio).
Compensation and Benefits

Total Base Pay Range 82,100. USD Annual. This position may be eligible for incentive compensation based on company, line of business and/or individual performance.
