Our client seeks a Change Management Consultant to drive change delivery across product teams by developing policies, approval workflows, and success metrics. The consultant will focus on communication, training, stakeholder alignment, and risk mitigation to enable faster, safer change deployments.
Rate: $60.00 to $65.00/hr. w2
Responsibilities- Facilitate change management delivery across multiple product teams.
- Develop change management policies and establish workflows for change approval.
- Create metrics to measure success and drive continuous improvement of the change process.
- Lead strategic planning and assessment for change initiatives.
- Manage processes and maintain audit trails for compliance.
- Coordinate stakeholders and conduct risk assessments.
- Accelerate deployment of changes while minimizing risks to IT infrastructure and business processes.
- Evaluate, prioritize, and fast-track well-documented changes to maintain agility.
- Reduce post-release incidents and avoid conflicts across concurrent changes.
- Define and develop change management approaches for Waterfall and Agile initiatives.
- Identify impacted groups and individuals, perform stakeholder assessments, and support sponsor roadmap development.
- Identify training needs and develop materials including job aids, portal content, and user documentation.
- Implement change management plans, navigate the organization to resolve issues, and identify opportunities.
- Manage follow-up on elevated issues and brief leadership as needed.
- Represent change management in meetings with teams and management.
- Demonstrated change management experience including communication planning, training strategy, and stakeholder analysis.
- Experience supporting enterprise IT change initiatives.
- Ability to plan strategically, assess risks, and coordinate stakeholders.
- Strong leadership with negotiation, conflict management, and influencing skills.
- Ability to communicate a vision and obtain buy-in.
- Comfort with ambiguity and adaptability to evolving business needs.
- Understanding of organizational development and change theory.
- Excellent communication, coaching, and mentoring skills.
- Proficiency in interacting with stakeholders at various levels.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills to address complex issues.
- Ability to operate independently and collaboratively.
- Knowledge of business management principles, procedures, and systems.
- Experience organizing multiple tasks and priorities to meet timelines and budgets.
- Understanding of risk mitigation tactics.
- Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical staff.
- Familiarity with change management software.
- Experience coordinating with cross-functional teams.
- Experience with large customer systems and large data systems preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field.
