- Direct a team and contribute individually to ensure all assets are maintained correctly and cost-effectively.
- Compile and analyze data to prepare reports for various stakeholders, comparing maintenance types, hours worked, time to completion, spend, etc. to gain insights on how to best manage facility maintenance.
- Create, execute, and monitor the maintenance budget.
- Foster a positive culture of highly engaged individuals united towards growing knowledge and maintenance excellence.
- Work with the General Manager to shape short- and long-term maintenance vision and strategy; translate these targets into daily tasks.
- Perform audits on preventive maintenance and cyclic tasks to ensure compliance; implement additional items as follow-up audits.
- Manage critical spare inventory program.
- Develop relationships and maintain a contractor roster to ensure subject matter experts are contracted and vetted to support maintenance needs.
- Through outstanding maintenance practices, ensure that the site is safe for all employees, contractors, and visitors.
- Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws.
- Assist with interviewing, hiring, and training employees; plan, assign, and direct work; appraise performance; reward and discipline employees; address complaints and resolve problems.
- Represent the maintenance department to employees, customers, suppliers, and regulatory agencies.
- Adhere to local, State, and Federal safety policies, and company rules and regulations.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university; or seven years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 7–10 years experience leading a team of 5–10 maintenance employees.
- 3–5 years experience with general financial accounting for maintenance work (e.g., bidding work, invoice management).
- Sound understanding of industrial mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation maintenance.
- Must be able to comply with local airport, FAA and/or U.S. Customs safety, security, and identification requirements and pass a thorough security background check.
- Must pass pre‑employment drug screen.

- Ability to learn independently through reading and training.
- Ability to understand and carry out oral and written instructions and request clarification when needed.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Ability to build relationships with customers and colleagues.
- Computer literate with proficiency in Excel.
- Knowledge of how to analyze maintenance issues with data.
- Ability to proficiently read, write, and speak English.
