POSITION SUMMARY
Support the development, management and implementation of enterprise-wide initiatives as directed by leadership. This position, under general supervision, will work with team members to implement and report on less complex enterprise and technical projects and project plans.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Manage individual projects which effect the entire County and may or may not be technical in nature
- Collect, analyze, and report data regarding all projects managed within the organization
- Create and support training and toolsets utilized by all official Project Managers and non-official Project Managers throughout the county
- Governance of all projects within the county, ensuring compliance and audit controls are active and working
- Manage coordination of projects which include reporting, dash boarding, and other administrative functions of projects
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience: Minimum two years of experience in project management or as a project coordinator
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or related field
- Combination of relevant education and relevant experience accepted: Yes
Licenses and Certifications
- May require a valid North Carolina or South Carolina Driver’s License
- May require the ability to obtain and maintain a County Operator Permit
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification Preferred
