A historic, independent full-service restaurant located in Charlotte, NC is seeking a highly detailed and standards-driven General Manager to elevate the operational excellence and guest experience of this landmark venue. This role will oversee the team while being an integral part of maintaining their commitment to premium service. Compensation: Base salary of $115,000 - $120,000 (Commensurate with Experience) + bonus, comprehensive benefits (medical, dental, vision), 401K w/ match, PTO, and more!

Core Responsibilities:

  • Lead, mentor, and develop the hospitality and service teams, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement centered on service-minded core values
  • Oversee all day-to-day operations of the restaurant
  • Manage P&L oversight, inventory control, and operational workflows with a hands-on approach, ensuring the location meets its financial targets and budgetary goals
  • Support the preparation and execution of high-volume service standards and event logistics
  • Strengthen internal processes by identifying opportunities for improved efficiencies in service delivery and implementing best practices for quality control and safety
  • Partner with cross-functional leaders to ensure perfect alignment between production, brand storytelling, and operational goals

Ideal Candidate Profile & Must-Have Skills:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a General Manager in a high-volume, full-service restaurant, ideally with annual sales of $7 million or more
  • Proven track record of successfully leading and developing large teams in a fast-paced, guest-centric environment
  • Strong financial acumen, with hands-on experience managing budgets, controlling costs, and optimizing restaurant P&L performance
  • Outstanding leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Strength in training and mentoring teams
