Senior Water / Wastewater Project Manager
HDR is looking for a Senior Water / Wastewater Project Manager to join our Water Business Group in Asheville, Charlotte, Raleigh, Wilmington, or Winston‑Salem, NC.

Responsibilities- Direct and coordinate work of single or multidisciplinary teams throughout the project lifecycle.
- Lead large multidisciplinary projects or medium-sized projects with high technical complexity.
- Produce and coordinate several projects concurrently.
- Establish and maintain client relations and participate in marketing, contractual, design, and production meetings.
- Conduct work sessions for deliverable development with other staff and stakeholders.
- Coordinate staffing and workload through the entire project life cycle, ensuring completion of deliverables on schedule.
- Track financial aspects and adjust work effort to stay within agreed budget and schedule.
- Work with Accounting, Operational, and Business leadership for periodic project reviews.
- Implement QA/QC procedures.
- Supervise large project staffs and mentor less‑experienced Project Managers.
- Perform other duties as needed.
- Master’s degree in a related field.
- PMP certification.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
- 10 years of related experience.
- Minimum 5 years of project management experience.
- Professional engineering license recognized in the location of the position.
- MS Office and MS Project experience (Access is a plus).
- Demonstrated leadership, business development, and strategic planning skills.
