The Director of Sales is responsible for achieving regional sales objectives by leading and managing a team of Area Sales Managers across multiple markets, as well as overseeing the Managers of Client Success to ensure the delivery of best-in-class client experiences where no client is left behind. This role focuses on driving top-line growth through strategic oversight, ensuring exceptional client satisfaction, and leveraging Millennium's resources to exceed expectations at a regional level.
By developing and executing a comprehensive yearly regional sales plan and budget aligned with the company's growth objectives, the Director fosters a collaborative and results-driven environment among their leadership team.

Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage a team of Area Sales Managers across multiple markets and oversee the Managers of Client Success to ensure best-in-class client experiences.
- Drive top-line growth through strategic oversight, customer satisfaction, and effective use of Millennium's resources at a regional level.
- Develop and execute a comprehensive yearly regional sales plan and budget aligned with the company's growth objectives; foster a collaborative, results-driven leadership team.
- Inspire and develop the sales and client success teams; provide daily guidance and mentorship to drive accountability and client-centricity.
- Monitor regional performance, conduct regular reviews, identify growth opportunities, and present updates to senior leaders.
- Oversee revenue generation and profitability: monitor daily sales metrics, engage with key clients on high-priority deals, and guide strategic initiatives.
- Perform strategic revenue planning by analyzing revenue data and KPIs to refine growth strategies and optimize pipelines.
- Practice financial stewardship with monthly profitability analyses and budget adherence, presenting reports and driving prudent spend.
- Coordinate cross-functional collaboration (Finance, Operations, Fulfillment, etc.) to ensure seamless execution and resolve bottlenecks.
- Foster vendor relationships and enablement: oversee partnerships, ensure ongoing training and product updates to sales teams.
- 10+ years of progressive sales leadership experience, with 5+ years managing sales leaders (e.g., Area/District/Regional Sales Managers).
- Proven success managing multi-location sales teams, owning regional budgets, sales quotas, and accountability.
- Strong background in building and leading mid-level managers who oversee inside and outside sales teams.
- Hands-on experience in developing and executing regional sales plans—including forecasting, market prioritization, and expense management.
- Deep understanding of structured, metric-driven sales processes and performance coaching.
- Expertise with CRM platforms, including forecasting tools, reporting, and leveraging data for decision-making.
- Track record of cross-functional collaboration with Finance, Operations, Fulfillment, and Client Success teams.
- Exceptional communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience managing vendor relationships and external partnerships.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, or related field preferred.
- Broadband industry experience is a plus, but not required.
