The Maintenance Supervisor plays a critical role in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of all production equipment and facility systems. This position provides leadership to a team of maintenance technicians and oversees all aspects of maintenance operations, including preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting, and equipment upgrades. The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for minimizing downtime, improving asset reliability, and supporting production goals while maintaining compliance with safety and quality standards.

The Maintenance Supervisor will be responsible for…

  • Lead and develop a team of maintenance technicians through coaching, training, and performance management.
  • Plan and execute preventive and predictive maintenance programs to maximize equipment uptime.
  • Respond to and resolve equipment breakdowns quickly and effectively to minimize production impact.
  • Collaborate with production, engineering, and quality teams to prioritize maintenance activities and support operational goals.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records and manage work orders using CMMS systems.
  • Monitor and report key performance indicators (KPIs) related to maintenance efficiency and reliability.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements; enforce LO/TO and PPE standards.
  • Manage spare parts inventory and coordinate with vendors and contractors for repairs and projects.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives, including 5S and equipment optimization projects.
  • Participate in special projects such as equipment installations, relocations, and upgrades.

The Maintenance Supervisor should have the following qualifications…

  • Associate or bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical, or industrial engineering (or equivalent experience).
  • 5+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment, including at least 2 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong technical knowledge of robotics, PLCs, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
  • Experience with CMMS systems and ability to interpret technical manuals, schematics, and engineering drawings.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours and respond to on-call emergencies as needed.
