Floor Technician

Overview

We are hiring immediately for full time Floor Technician positions.

Novant Health Ballantyne Medical Center - 10905 Providence Road West, Charlotte, North Carolina 28277.

Schedule:

Full time;
Days may vary, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. More details upon interview.

• Floor maintenance, restoration, and operation of industrial floor care equipment.
• Maintain knowledge of hard-surface floor maintenance and use proper procedures on hard floors including stripping and refinishing, burnishing, spray cleaning, and spray buffing.
• Operate various types of industrial floor care equipment and use automated equipment for cleaning large floor areas.
• Perform carpet and upholstery care including shampooing, damp surface, extractions, spot cleaning, and vacuuming.
• Perform maintenance and restorative processes for all floor surface types.
• Other duties as assigned by the manager.

• Previous experience as a floor care technician or in a related role preferred.
• Proven knowledge of floor care equipment and techniques required.
• Knowledge and ability to follow safety procedures.
• Requires frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling of up to 50 lbs.
